Distributed Antenna Systems:

Bruce McNeill can design distributed antenna systems in the radio spectrum from 30MHz to 2.4GHz.As in all antenna designs there is a number of ways a distributed system can be designed. Distributed antenna systems are mainly designed for business where a large area of coverage is required and where a singular system will not suffice. An example of a distributed system would be the Aria 20W.

VHF Adjustable Ground Plane Antennas

The GP Series is a range of omni directional unity gain adjustable ground plane antennas ideal for local area coverage when a high gain antenna is not required or justified. The broad vertical beam width offers null fill for consistent signal coverage. GP Series antennas are easily tuned in the field by adjusting the position of the ground plane elements.

Electrically, the GP Series antenna is a quarter wave radiating element with the radials acting as a counterpoise. These radials are of one-piece construction and utilise a single bolt clamping design. The heavy duty aluminium radiating element is enclosed in a PVC radome for environmental protection.

GP Series antennas are compact and easily mounted on lightweight support structures. The base of the antenna is fitted with an RG213/U cable tail and a captive pin N type female connector. The antennas are DC grounded for superior lightning protection and the reduction of precipitation static noise.
